bass fishing tackle tips
Boca Chica and fishing on Lake largemouth bass. First Timer Tips? Hooksize, tackle, bait?
This is my first time fishing in a lake and heard boca chica and there are black bass in the lake. Any advice? Also what size hook should I use and what kind of bait? I have the "fake worms" with all kinds and colors and some kind of bait that has the diffuse part of a spinner bait, but only a hook on the end without roulette. HELP!
It all depends on what color is water. I recommend using a Texas rig worm power through the weeds, because it is damn near impossible to do that if hung properly rigged. Always I loved a black worm with a chartreuse tail, as it seemed more like a baby bluegill. More things to consider would be whether or not to add weight bullet faster sinking and more models, but it removes the action of the attraction. Bass normally pick as bait is falling. Also if the fish towards the end of the day to pick up a hula-Popper for some dynamite top-water action, and he calms down.
