Beginner Bass Fisher?
I live in the center for East Texas. I have fish low in more than 12 years due to my lack of time due to military service. I went to the store to pick up some lures, and its very overwhelming to see thousands of lures, and I do not know what and what accessories to buy. I am confused as to how to set up my rod for bass in these different areas: 1. fishing from shore, clear day, little to know wind, medium and dark water with weeds and brush less than a foot under water, 2. coastal fishing, darkest day, the wind medium to high, medium to dark water with weeds and brush less than a foot below the water thanks for ya'lls help
I'm no expert, but here are some things better than fishermen have always said: Early in the morning after rains, and late evening are usually good times to fish. Fish tend to be lazy (like us) who look out for your own comfort lot (like to rest in the shade), and eating (strike) only when what they really need, or when they feel their territory is being invaded. Generally, go for meals easy. So do not throw your bait too fast. coastal fishing (for two examples) I use a long stick and a bunch of lines. If your body is water a dock (for ships) which is a good area of shade for fish to rest under. Try to cast so far in the deepest water you can and then pull the bait in a way that simulating a wounded or injured minnow presentation. Wear something bright as bait because it is easier seen by fish. Something with natural movement, "also helps attract fish into striking. Other colors, the fonts should be delivered closer to the fish so that they realize or not to provoke a strike as it did not believe that the attraction of being a real meal. I hope that helps. Good luck!
