bass fishing in the fall
Under rookie fall fishing advice needed?
Never before fishing in the fall. always quit around mid-August. but this year going to try. What are some good techniques and lures? water depths? etc.
autumn is my favorite time of year for topwaters use. the fish are looking for morsels to fatten for the winter and is turned on. weedbeds points using weedless frogs and buzzbaits are particularly gratifying for me, as well as low or shallow flat with a drop at the edge (where the fish are going to gather up a school of bait cruise the shallows) when l have been doing very well with poppers and Zara spies. keep your eye on flocks of loons and other diving birds that feed on fish, until they get within casting range. are usually after a school of shad or other bait. crayfish are a good bait to use imitations (or) because these are high in fat and protein than low need.
