When the fish spawn in northern Wisconsin?
I hear everyone saying that the best time to fish for bass is during spawning. I am planning a trip to Three Lakes (Eagle River) from Wisconsin, and am trying to find her during spawning. I guess it's in the spring, but how exactly can you predict spawning? What are the factors that contribute to making the spawning? Are these the same conditions are valid in the U.S.? I am planning a trip to Texas. Any idea?
I do not know what other answer than when conditions are right. Water temperature is the main factor. When you go to Texas to keep their eyes on temperature water to catch largemouth. Usually begins when water temperature hits 58F.Mid usually in February for the east Texas. Pre-spawning happens now. Fish and mound Channels of 17-24ft deep on Carolina rigged lizards and French fry. Bed fishing during spawning is one of the best ways to ensure the capture of Bass. Be sure to free bass, where the catch so they can finish spawning. Males guard the beds after the females lay the eggs so be sure to set them free in catching. It will go right back to work keeping the bed.
